What does JDRosenlaw cover?
Every week, we review all newly published Colorado Court of Appeals and Colorado Supreme Court opinions in criminal law — and summarize them with practical analysis for defense practitioners. We also cover unpublished opinions, federal matters, and notable cert grants/denials.
How often is new content published?
Summaries are published weekly, generally corresponding to the Colorado appellate opinion release schedule.
What is the difference between the Free and Paid plans?
Free subscribers get access to mini summaries (brief case overviews) for the current week and the public archive. Paid subscribers get full summaries with complete analysis, all sections (unpublished opinions, federal matters, JDR's Note, etc.), the full archive dating back to 2011, podcast episodes, and CLE presentations.
Is there a discount if my practice is primarily indigent clients?
Yes, a reduced subscription rate is available for attorneys who certify that at least 50% of their time is billed at the state rate (or less). This rate is also available to inactive attorneys and non-attorneys.
How do I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel at any time from your Account page or by contacting us. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period.
How far back does the archive go?
The full archive goes back to 2011, making it one of the most comprehensive historical records of Colorado criminal defense appellate opinions available.
Is JDRosenlaw a law firm or providing legal advice?
No. JDRosenlaw is a legal information service, not a law firm. The content is intended to help legal professionals stay informed about Colorado appellate opinions — it does not constitute legal advice and does not create an attorney-client relationship.
Are there discounts for firms who would like multiple subscriptions?
Yes. See our current rates on the subscription page . Click here.
